My Top 5 Favorite Books

Hello all! I’ve done a lot of posts about movies and actors but I’ve yet to talk about books. Here’s my list (in no particular order) of favorite books.

1. Remember Me by Christopher Pike

I’ve read this book at least five times and I still want to read it. It’s suspenseful and fun and full of surprises.

2. The Tale of Desperaux by Kate DiCamillo

Sure, sure… It’s a children’s book but it’s one I’ll probably continue reading the rest of my life. The story is amazing and the characters are ones you just want to keep returning to. It’s the only book from my childhood that I’ll continue reading over and over. (The cartoon is adorable too!)

3. The Secret Circle by L.J Smith

It was a close tie between this series and Vampire Diaries. Secret Circle won due to the simple fact that it bothered me how much Damon got away with things in Vampire Diaries. Everyone I know is on ‘Team Damon’ and I simply don’t know why. Anyway, this book kept me on my toes and had memorable characters.

4. The Chain Letter by Christopher Pike

I clearly love Christopher Pike and if this list was longer, I know it would include a great deal more of his books. Though usually small, his stories are filled with amazing characters, in depth plots and twist endings.

5. The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer

Part of me really wanted to think of a different book to include simply because of how crazily popular this franchise is but it was popular for a reason. Stephenie Meyer does an extraordinary job pulling you into Bella Swan’s world and making you feel just as bewildered and vulnerable as she does.

Have you guys read any of these books? What are some of your favorites?
